Blood Child

Blood Child er støjende, melodiøs post-punk som udspringer fra undergrunden i Thy. Tempoet er højt, guitaren er støjende og musikken bærer generelt præg af et mørkt og mystisk univers, hvor især Emil Bertelsens stemme giver anledning til fuld opmærksomhed fra publikum.

Bandets inspirationskilde(r) stammer fra slut-70’ernes og start-80’ernes punkscene, som for dem har ledt tankerne imod bands som Joy Division, The Cure og nyere navne som John Maus og Iceage.

Blood Child er en del af det meget omtalte Thy Music Collective, der har haft succes med at give Thy en solid placering på Danmarkskortet over den uafhængige musik. Hjalte og Mads agerer desuden forsangere i hver deres band, hvor Hjalte med sit projekt danner bro mellemThy Music Collective og Aalborgensiske Lydtæt.

The Bowdashes

The Bowdashes are Danish duo Nana Nørgaard and Linn Holm playing dark folk wave with heavy bass drones and fuzzy guitars.

The duo was formed late 2015 and has since released their debut single Copenhagen Gold Rush, played more than 30 shows all around Denmark and supported the legendary rockband Garbage (US) on their European tour in November.

In early 2017 The Bowdashes are releasing their next single.

J. Tex & the Volunteers

J. Tex and the Volunteers are a traveling trio of artists, sailors, surfers, writers, painters and farmers.
They take their journey to many a city and town – for there they turn musicians – playing their instruments and telling their stories in song.
Normally they go out on stage as a trio, but you will often see the band as a duo or a quartet, too. These nomads enjoy a good whisky, coffee, smoke, conversation and improvising on their instruments while playing mostly homecrafted songs. Cooking up food for thought over the open fire. With their stylistic flexibility, swing, rhythm and rock-steady roots music, they offer the listener a new musical experience.
This is good old-fashioned entertainment but with a twist, a new take on an old thing.

The Brotherhood of Sonic Love

I et sonisk univers af fuzz, psychedelia, garage og støjrock – udforsker et broderskab af distortede sjæle, fra nær og fjern, skønheden og støjen i simple riffs og melodiske sange.

The Brotherhood of Sonic Love har efter flere års tilløb og tankespind for alvor taget form i 2016.  Bandet består af en broget skare af både helt unge og meget erfarne folk fra forskellige bands på den københavnske støjrock- og garagescene – og live har de ofte vokseværk på scenen, da der er mange, som gerne vil bidrage til det musikalske broderskab og støjende frirum.

The Brotherhood of Sonic Love er lige nu EP-aktuelle med deres debut-EP med samme navn.

Man skal lede længe efter en mere ægte nutids-troubadur end F.W. Smolls. Han legemliggør den sande karakter af “gademusikeren” – med guitaren på ryggen og hatten i hånden er han altid klar til at spille et nummer, uanset hvor han befinder sig.  F.W. Smolls skriver eftertænksomme sange med en skrøbelig intimitet, der varmer om hjertet på en kold efterårsdag.

Copenhagen-based EGA Legionnaire make music which travels from garage pop to expiremental punk via improbable stopovers in silly antics, angry political satire, and an occasional bared soul.
Debuting in 2016 they have quickly become known for deploying improvised audience-engagement devices such as popcorn machines, toys, tin cans, and paper planes.
